Why is my project showing as a preview?
Preview links are temporary and come down after one hour. It happens for one of five reasons, and upgrading fixes all of them.
1. You've reached your plan's project limit
This is the most common cause on the Free plan.
Free and Tiny both allow one active project, so delete old projects before uploading a new one.
2. Your project is over your plan's size limit
Free accounts allow 3 MB per project, and 0.5 MB for PDFs.
See Plan limits explained: projects, uploads, visits and bandwidth for every plan.
3. You're uploading a PHP file
PHP requires a paid plan.
See Do you support PHP?.
4. Your content can't be hosted on the free plan
Some content types are restricted on the free plan.
See We're unable to host this type of content on our free plan.
5. Your project has a password field or a redirect script
Projects containing a password input field, or a script that redirects visitors to another page, are held in preview for manual review.
If that doesn't match what you actually uploaded, delete the project and re-upload it, as most false positives clear on a second pass. Still stuck? Email support@tiiny.host.
Making it permanent
Upgrading to a paid plan publishes your project permanently and raises your limits. See our plans.
Until then, treat the preview link as a way to check how your content looks, not as hosting.
