Why has my project been deleted?

If your link now shows a 404 page, one of these four things has usually happened.

It was a preview link

Some content can't be hosted on the free plan, so we publish it as a temporary preview instead — a way to see how it would look on a paid plan.
Preview links come down automatically after one hour. More on this: Why is my project shown as a preview?

The account had been inactive

Free accounts need to be logged into at least once every three months.
Accounts left unused for longer than that may be removed, along with their projects.

The subscription ended

When a paid plan is cancelled, projects stay live until the end of the billing period.
After that, projects and account data are removed.

The content wasn't allowed on our platform

We remove content that breaches our policies.

Can it be recovered?

We keep backups of everything for 60 days after deletion.

• On a paid plan: Email support@tiiny.host with your account email and the link name.
• On the free plan: Restoring from backup is a paid-plan feature, so we can't do it while your account is free. If you upgrade to any paid plan within those 60 days, get in touch and we'll restore it for you.
