Plan limits explained: projects, uploads, visits and bandwidth
Plan limits explained
Every Tiiny Host plan has five limits: how many projects you can have live, how big your uploads can be, how many uploads you can do per day, how many visits you get per month, and how much bandwidth you get per month. Here's all of it in one place.
Everything at a glance
Plan | Active projects | Upload limit | Uploads/day | Visits/month | Bandwidth/month |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Free | 1 | 3 MB per project (0.5 MB for PDFs) | 3 | 5,000 | 5 GB |
Tiny | 1 | 25 MB per project | 3 | 10,000 | 10 GB |
Solo | 5 | 75 MB per project | Unlimited | 100,000 | 50 GB |
Pro | 15 | 10 GB per account | Unlimited | 500,000 | 100 GB |
Pro Max | Unlimited | 2 TB per account | Unlimited | 1,000,000 | 200 GB |
How big your uploads can be — file size limits
This works differently depending on your plan.
On Free, Tiny and Solo, the limit applies to each project separately
On Solo, each of your five projects can be up to 75 MB, they don't share an allowance.
- The Free plan allows 3 MB per project, and 0.5 MB for PDFs specifically.
- The Tiny plan allows 25 MB per project.
- The Solo plan allows 75 MB per project.
On Pro and Pro Max, it's a total across your whole account
Here it's a pool rather than a per-project cap. On Pro, one large project could use most of your 10 GB, or fifteen smaller ones could share it.
- The Pro plan allows 10 GB across your account.
- The Pro Max plan allows 2 TB across your account.
How many projects you can have live
Archived projects stay stored and stop counting towards this limit, so you can keep more than your plan allows as long as only some are live.
- Free: 1 active project
- Tiny: 1 active project
- Solo: 5 active projects
- Pro: 15 active projects
- Pro Max: unlimited active projects
How many uploads you can do per day
Updates count too. Publishing a new project and then updating it twice uses all three.
- Free: 3 uploads per day
- Tiny: 3 uploads per day
- Solo, Pro and Pro Max: unlimited
It resets 24 hours after you hit the limit, not at midnight. Use your third upload at 4pm and you can upload again from 4pm the next day.
Visits per month
A visit is one person arriving at your project. Someone who comes back the next day counts again.
- Free: 5,000 visits per month
- Tiny: 10,000 visits per month
- Solo: 100,000 visits per month
- Pro: 500,000 visits per month
- Pro Max: 1,000,000 visits per month
Bandwidth per month
Bandwidth is the total amount of data sent to your visitors. It's your visits multiplied by the size of your project: visits per month × project size = bandwidth used.
- Free: 5 GB per month
- Tiny: 10 GB per month
- Solo: 50 GB per month
- Pro: 100 GB per month
- Pro Max: 200 GB per month
A 1 MB project with 5,000 visits uses 5 GB of bandwidth.
I've had a limit warning but I'm nowhere near my visit limit
That'll be bandwidth rather than visits. The two allowances are balanced for a project of roughly 1 MB. On the free plan, 5,000 visits to a 1 MB project uses exactly the 5 GB bandwidth allowance, so both run out at the same time.
A bigger project uses bandwidth faster. A 20 MB project only needs 250 visits to use 5 GB, so you'll reach your bandwidth limit long before you get near your visit limit. If that's happening, making your project smaller stretches the same allowance further. Compressing images usually cuts a project's size by more than half with no visible difference.
If you go over a limit
We'll email you when you're approaching or have crossed a limit.
Upgrading raises all five limits. See our plans.
