Can't Log In? Try These Quick Fixes
If you're having trouble logging in, the issue is often caused by something on your network blocking our service — typically your ISP, antivirus software, or corporate firewall. Try the steps below in order.
1. Check our health check endpoint
Open this link in your browser: https://api.tiiny.host/healthcheck
- If the page loads, our service is reachable from your network — skip to step 3
- If it fails to load, times out, or shows a connection error, your network is blocking us — continue with step 2
2. Test on your phone using mobile data
The fastest way to confirm a network block is to take your Wi-Fi out of the picture.
- Turn off Wi-Fi on your phone
- Make sure you're connected to mobile data (4G/5G)
- Try logging in
If login works on mobile data but not on Wi-Fi, your network is blocking us. Continue to the next steps.
3. Add an antivirus exception
Some antivirus programs (like Norton, McAfee, Kaspersky, or Bitdefender) block login traffic by mistake.
- Open your antivirus settings
- Add our website/app to the list of trusted sites or exceptions
- Temporarily disable the antivirus as a quick test — if login works, an exception is the fix
4. Try a VPN
If you're on a corporate or restricted network, a VPN routes your traffic around the block.
- Connect to any reputable VPN
- Try logging in again
5. Contact your IT team or ISP
If you're on a work network and a VPN isn't an option, ask your IT team to allowlist our domain. If the block is from your home ISP, contact their support and let them know you can't reach our service.
