Site cannot be reached error (Secure connection failed)
"Site cannot be reached" or "Secure connection failed"

The problem
Opening a .tiiny.site link, you see one of:
- Secure connection failed
- Safari can't open this link
- This site can't provide a secure connection
- ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR
Why it happens
This usually isn't a problem with your site, it's a network blocking ours. Because of the volume of spam historically uploaded to the shared .tiiny.site domain (which we remove continuously), some internet providers, corporate firewalls and antivirus tools block the whole domain.
That's why your site often works fine for you and fails for someone else, or works on mobile data but not on office Wi-Fi.
Quick check
Open your link on a phone with Wi-Fi off, using mobile data. If it loads there, the site is fine and a network is doing the blocking.
How to fix it
Option 1 — connect your own domain (best fix)
Publishing on your own domain sidesteps the problem completely, since the block is on our shared domain rather than on your content.
Available on the Solo plan and above — see Connecting a Domain You Already Own or Buying a Domain Through Tiiny Host.
Option 2 — ask us about our .tiiny.co domain
On paid plans we can move verified accounts onto our .tiiny.co domain, which isn't affected by these blocks.
Email support@tiiny.host with your account email and the project you'd like moved, and we'll review it. It's a manual process on our side, so give us a little time to come back to you.
