How to switch to a free account

There's no direct downgrade from a paid plan to the free plan. You'll need to cancel your paid plan first, then sign up again for a free account.
Your projects will be deleted. When your paid plan ends, your projects, files and links are permanently removed. Download anything you want to keep before your billing period ends.

Step 1 — Back up your work

Download any files you want to keep. Once the billing period ends, they're gone.

Step 2 — Cancel your paid plan

1. Log in and click the plan button in the top right — it shows your current plan.
2. Select Manage Account.
3. Click Cancel subscription at the bottom left.

Already logged in? Go straight to tiiny.host/manage/subscription/cancel.

Step 3 — Wait for your billing period to end

Your sites stay live and your plan keeps working until the end of the period you've already paid for. Nothing changes before then.

Step 4 — Sign up for a free account

Once the period has ended, sign up again at tiiny.host. You can use the same email address.
Then re-upload the files you backed up in step 1.

Common questions

Can I keep my projects?

No. Projects don't carry across, and there's no way to transfer them to a free account. Back them up and re-upload.

Can I use the same email address?

Yes, once the paid plan has fully ended.

I cancelled by mistake. Can I undo it?

Yes, if your billing period hasn't ended yet. Go to Manage Account and click Uncancel next to your subscription status.

I've already lost my projects. Can you get them back?

Get in touch at support@tiiny.host. We keep backups for 60 days and can often restore for customers who were on a paid plan.
