How to transfer your domain out of Tiiny Host

You'll need an EPP code (also called an Auth Code) to authorise the transfer. Request it using our domain transfer form and we'll send it within 24 to 72 hours.

Domains bought less than 60 days ago can't be transferred. This is a standard registry lock, not our policy.

What you'll need

  • The full domain name
  • Access to the email address on the domain's registrant contact
  • A domain more than 60 days old

After you receive your code

  1. Log in to your new registrar and start the transfer.
  2. Enter the EPP code when prompted.
  3. Approve the transfer via the confirmation email sent to your registrant address.
  4. Allow up to 7 days for it to complete, as required by ICANN.

You might not need to transfer at all

If you only want to point your domain at a different service, you can do that while keeping it registered with us.

Change your nameservers

To manage DNS entirely through another provider, update your nameservers to point at them. Your domain stays with us; DNS resolution happens elsewhere.

Add a CNAME record

To point a subdomain at another service, a CNAME record is usually quickest — no transfer needed.

For both, see How to update DNS records for a domain bought through us.

Haven't received your code?

If it's been more than 72 hours, email support@tiiny.host.
