How to Switch to a Free Account

It isn't possible to directly downgrade a paid subscription to a free account. Instead, you'll need to cancel your current subscription and then sign up for a new free account once the cancellation takes effect.

⚠️ Important: Your projects will be deleted When your subscription is cancelled, all of your projects and associated data will be permanently deleted. Make sure to export or save anything you need before proceeding.

Steps to switch to a free account

1. Back up your projects. Export or save any work you want to keep. Once your subscription ends, all projects will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
2. Cancel your subscription. Go to Settings > Billing and select Cancel Plan. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
3. Wait for the cancellation to take effect. You'll continue to have access to your paid plan until your billing period ends. You'll receive a confirmation email when your account reverts.
4. Sign up for a free account. Once your subscription has fully lapsed, you can register a new account using the same or a different email address to get started on the free plan.

Frequently asked questions

Can I keep my projects when I switch to free?

No. All projects are permanently deleted when your paid subscription ends. There is no way to transfer projects to a free account.

Can I use the same email address for my new free account?
