# Publishing to a subdomain

Once you've connected your own domain, you can publish to a subdomain of it. That's useful if you already have a website somewhere else and want to add something separate without touching it. Your main site stays where it is; the new project lives on its own subdomain.

| Custom domains are available on Solo and above.

### How to publish to a subdomain

You only connect your domain once. After that, each subdomain is an upload:
1. Upload your file as normal.

3. Type the subdomain you want into the **link-name** box.
4. Click **Publish**.
Repeat for as many subdomains as you need.
