# How to deploy a React app

Set `homepage` to `"."` in your `package.json`, build, then upload the zipped `build` folder. Takes about a minute.
 
### Steps

1. In the `package.json`, change the `homepage` value to `"."`. This makes the build reference its files relative to `index.html`, which is what our hosting expects.
2. Run `npm run build` in your terminal. This creates a `build` folder.
3. Zip the `build` folder.
4. Go to [tiiny.host](https://tiiny.host), choose a link name, and upload the zip.
5. Click **Publish**.

### If your site loads but the styling is missing

This is almost always the `homepage` value. Check it's set to `"."` and not to a full URL or an absolute path, then rebuild and re-upload.
