# How to delete a project

Deleting removes the project, its files and its link.

||| On the free plan this can't be undone. Download anything you want to keep first.

1. Go to your dashboard at [__tiiny.host/manage__](https://tiiny.host/manage).
2. Find the project and click the 3-dot-menu under **Actions**.

### Deleted something by mistake?
We keep backups for **60 days** after deletion.
* **On a paid plan:** Email [support@tiiny.host](mailto:support@tiiny.host) as soon as you can with your account email and the link name. We can usually restore it.
* **On the free plan:** Restoring is a paid-plan feature, so we can't do it while your account is free. [Upgrade](https://tiiny.host/pricing) within the 60 days and get in touch, and we can restore it for you.

### Want to take it offline temporarily instead?
On paid plans, [archiving](https://helpdesk.tiiny.host/en/article/how-to-archive-your-projects-cd4ftr/) unpublishes a project without deleting it, and stops it counting toward your project limit.
