# Do you support forms?

Not on their own — static sites have no server to process a submission. You can add a working form using [formsubmit.co](https://formsubmit.co), a free service that handles submissions and emails them to you.

### Why forms don't work by default

Tiiny Host is a **static site hosting service**, which means it only serves HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files. Static sites cannot process form submissions on their own because they don't have a backend server to handle the data. When someone submits a form, something has to receive and process that data, and a static site has nothing running to do it.

### Adding a working form

Add this to your HTML page, replacing your@email.com with the address you want submissions sent to:

```html
<form action="https://formsubmit.co/your@email.com" method="POST">
  <label for="name">Name:</label>
  <input type="text" name="name" id="name" required>
  <label for="email">Email:</label>
  <input type="email" name="email" id="email" required>
  <label for="message">Message:</label>
  <textarea name="message" id="message" required></textarea>
  <button type="submit">Send</button>
</form>
```

Then:

1. Upload your project as normal.
2. The first time someone submits the form, FormSubmit sends you a confirmation email.
3. Click the confirmation link to activate the form.
4. All future submissions arrive in your inbox.

Full documentation is at [__formsubmit.co__](https://formsubmit.co).

### If you've built the project with AI

Ask it to make the change for you:

```
Please modify the code to use https://formsubmit.co for all form submissions and send all submissions to my email address <email address>.
```

Replace `<email address>` with your own.
